24 hours a day.  Seven days a week.

Troop 39 Enhancements:

  • No frowns, scowls or furrowed eyebrows.
  • No magnesium fire starters or candles.
  • No sheath knives, camp axes or saws.
  • No AM/FM, cassette or CD players (78RPM record players 8-track tape players, and 220 volt reel-to-reel tape recorders are ok)
  • No snack foods such as chips & candy bars—unless they’re packed by patrols as part of one of your three square meals you have planned
  • We worry about how we look to the public and want our conduct to always be gentlemanly.
  • Whining is usually followed by toe amputation.
  • Don’t even think about picking up a rock.  Bad idea.
  • No running.  It ain’t worth hurrying for, anyway.
  • No physical contact or other horseplay.
  • No cursing, crude language, crude or suggestive jokes or euphemisms.  (12th point of the Scout Law, enforced by Mothers and Scoutmasters everywhere.)
